Four Leaf Farms is one of the regions most respected Canadian Sport Horse breeders and is situated on 72 acres in the beautiful village of Richmond, Ontario, Canada.

This private family operated facility, established in 1999, is owned by Ed Stewart. Ed brings over 20 years experience working in the horse industry and is very proud to offer professional horse boarding, breeding and the sale of quality Hanoverians and Canadian Sport Horses.
Ed’s experience with horses comes from working on his families farms, hitching up the heavy horses and caring for other livestock. Ed manages the farm on a full time basis and keeps everything in tiptop shape. He is a wizard at building and fixing, has his AZ license and a small engines mechanic license. His interests are to breed the best horses for sport, Hanoverians and Canadian Sport Horses.

I came to Four Leaf Farms after having been at my last barn for over ten years. The move was quite stressful on my horse but from the moment I set foot on the property I knew this was the place for us. The atmosphere surrounding Four Leaf is extremely warm and inviting, I felt at home immediately.
Ed does a fantastic job keeping the facilities up to date and renovations are always on going. They are both dedicated to the well-being and happiness of their boarders and each and every horse on the farm. The whole property is always clean and well kept and the barn itself is the cleanest barn I have ever had the pleasure of working in. You could not ask for a better place to keep your horse. The people are all extremely friendly and work together in making Four Leaf Farms the place that it is today.
Since moving almost two years ago my horse’s health has improved drastically and he has never looked better. Four Leaf Farms is the best thing that could have ever happened to us. We have made some life long friends, have grown together as a team and have never been happier.

I have been boarding my horse at Four Leaf since the fall of 2009 and I am very pleased with the excellent care my horse receives.
Ed has always been available, whether it was to administer medication when my horse needed it, help pry off a loose shoe or simply give out knowledgeable advice. They genuinely have my horses’ best interest at heart and I feel at ease knowing my horse is being properly cared for.
From the consistently well-kept grounds and barn to the on-going farm improvements, it’s evident that Ed takes pride in their farm. Boarding at Four Leaf is a real pleasure and I feel fortunate to have found such a great home for my horse.

Having owned horses for more than 20 years, I know exactly what to look for in a boarding facility. Four Leaf Farms is by far the best stable at which I’ve ever kept a horse.
Ed is always considerate, efficient and helpful when dealing with my horse and have always been very proactive in discussing his care with me. I feel completely comfortable going out of town and leaving him in their capable hands – something that does not usually come easily to me!
The facility itself is also superb, with many surfaces on which to train, no matter the discipline. I would recommend Four Leaf to anyone wishing to keep their horse at a safe, modern, and friendly stable, whether a competitive rider or not.
